Exploring Deck AI in PowerPoint

Deck AI provides AI-powered assistance directly within PowerPoint, helping users refine content, generate ideas, and work more efficiently without leaving the application. The tools are available in a dedicated pane alongside the presentation.
Open Deck AI
- 1.Open the PowerPoint presentation you want to work on.
- 2.Go to the Deck tab.
- 3. In the Tools group, select Deck AI.
- 4. The Deck AI pane opens on the right side of the PowerPoint window.

The Deck AI pane is organized into two sections:
Basic AI Features
1. Rephrase Text Using Deck AI
The Rephrase tool rewrites selected slide content while preserving its original meaning. Users can select a writing style to refine the tone, grammar, and wording.
Available styles:
- Formal
- Executive
- Casual
- Professional
2. Condense Text
The Condense tool shortens selected text while retaining its key information. It is useful for simplifying lengthy slide content and improving readability.
3. Title Generator
The Title Generator creates relevant title suggestions based on the content of the current slide. It analyses the slide content and generates a suitable title.
4. Translate
The Translate tool converts selected slide text into another language directly within PowerPoint.

Advanced AI Features
1. Company Intelligence
Company Intelligence generates a company-focused presentation based on the company, industry, and selected time horizon. It provides a structured starting point for company research and presentation development.
2. AI Glossary
It generates a presentation-ready glossary based on industry-specific terms, abbreviations, acronyms, and technical language found in the selected presentation content
3. Industry Primer Generator
Industry Primer Generator creates an industry-focused presentation based on the selected in geographic focus, and time horizon. It provides structured, presentation-ready content for industry research and analysis.
Common Workflow for Deck AI Tools
- 1.Select the text or slide you want to work with.
- 2.In the Deck AI pane, select the required AI tool under Basic or Advanced tabs.
- 3. Configure the available options, if applicable.
- 4.Select Proceed to generate the response.
- 5. Review the generated content and select Insert into Slide to apply it.
- 6.Use Clear, Close (X), Expand Response, or Copy to Clipboard as required.
